Default How am I doing towards a healthy lifestyle? - 12-31-2008, 03:09 PM

I am 15 y/o maleI weigh 100 lb (looking to gain a little or maintain)I am 5 foot 2I am active every other dayI eat 2000-2400, sometimes 2800 calories, depends on my hungerAll of the calories are healthyI can do 5 pullups, 20 pushups and can do a handstand17-18 % body fatI am happy and confortable with myself

It sounds like you are doing pretty good. Since you are still growing it is a good idea that you keep up the calorie intake like you are doing. Just be sure that the calories you eat are healthy calories not just greasy fast food and pizza and desserts ect. It would be really good for you if you mixed in some fruit and veggies and some white meat. I am sure that you already eat some red meat (all guys do) so so not avoid it entirely just be sure that you eat the good lean red meat, but try to eat more white meat. It tends to be a little lower in fat.

it seems you are healthy and not so interested in diet so keep it up. and you not so aged so its not needed to take much diet.

If you want to live a healthy lifestyle then you have to eat some fruits and vegetables. You have to walk at least 2-3 hours so that your body and the mind will be fresh for the day. You can take supplements if possible.
