If you do the following, i will guarantee that you will loose weight:
Nutrition
Eat plenty of grains, vegetables and fruits. Cut out all processed foods. Cut right down on meat, and instead increase your intake of green leafy vegetables. Dont eat any kind of junk food (or only rarely / occasionally). And this is huge: drink enough water, how much is enough: for an 80kg male it is around 2.5 to 3 Litres a day. Drink that each day and eat that diet, and you are going to start loosing weight. Want to loose some more? then onto part B
Exercise
Whatever floats your boat. Some people love running (like me), others like jogging, walking, cycling, weightlifting, badminton, or goat herding. It doesnt matter. Just being active each day for at least an hour, when combined with a healthy diet will shed many kilos.
I went from very little exercise and eating plenty of fattening food at work, to running 14 km a week and made the nutrition changes above, and i had one primary goal - loose 5 kg. Did i succeed?
I lost 20 kg in 5 months. Instead of feeling like im 100, with sore back and pain in knees, i feel incredible - stronger and more energy at nearly 40 years of age than when i was a teenager or in my early 20s.
Its worth it.
