Is teen pregnancy always a bad thing? -

I'm 17. I have always been a responsible person and always more mature for my age. I was with the baby's daddy for 3 years now. He proposed to me last summer and I said yes. A couple months later we decided to be each others firsts. He was my first boyfriend and I was his first girlfriend. We had sex, I was on birth control, and he used a condom. Somehow I got pregnant anyway. I am now due in April. We have both decided to take full responsibility of the situation. He still treats me the same as before I got pregnant, in a good way. He is working and gets a pretty good pay. I babysit for my mom's friend on weekdays. So I was wondering, is teen pregnancy always a bad thing?
well in your case i don't think it is
because you are bringing the baby into a stable life i.e you know the babysatSoddyd there a a good wage coming in
I don't always see it as a bad thing. You and your boyfriend seem to be responsible and level headed so good luck.
I think people just see it as a bad thing BC most teens haven't finished school and dint go back after the baby. Some get pregnant on purpose for immature reasons and some are immature and are in no way shape or form ready for a baby!
First of all, congratulations.
Second of all, I hate the fact that people treat the majority of teen pregnancies as awful instead of the minority. Though the minority is rising over the majority pretty quickly.
From what you have said you seem pretty stable and set up, though you have to realize that once that baby is born it will be hectic. I hope you really do have stable income, support and lots of it, and a career to look forward to when your baby is old enough. Though be prepared to get alto of hate from this question and now i have one thing to say...Good luck because to be honest you sound like you have your head screwed on.
Its not always a bad thing but most people wouldn't like to get pregnant as a teen. But it seems like you guys love each other and you are lucky to have each other.
