Default How to help stress and time management and be more relaxed? - 01-30-2009, 05:45 PM

I get over loaded with homework if I'm not at school I'm at home doing more school work. I don't Think it's fair, I have no time for myself anymore. I'm always stressed and exhausted (I can never fall asleep at night)Do you know of anyways that I can get things done quickly and be relaxed and stress free?

Try to make some changes in your schedule. Make sure you have a lunch period, and certainly a free period to get some of your homework out of the way. Try staying in the library, or even an empty classroom if you are allowed to after school. Sometimes you might have better concentration if you work in a different place. If you have lots of majors, consider dropping one. Move down levels in some of your classes or take easier ones altogether. Take some of your core classes during summer school to free up time during the year. Summer school classes are more laid back and more fun than you'd think.And you've probably heard this, but get enough sleep at night. Don't work till 1 in the morning or get up at 5 AM to finish up your work. If it's not done, it's not done. You DESERVE to sleep! And if it's not too hard, talk to an advisor or teacher. They will likely help you out.

I prefer to go for job before 15 to 20 minutes and i feel it is relaxed to me as arriving late on job always gives me stress. So i made it my habit to reach before some minutes at job rather than being stressed. It really keeps me happy... Usually we get stressed when we do not complete our scheduled work load on time....we must take care of time....
