Knee belts are advertised in Tv channels. It consists of two belts which are fastened at 4"upper&4"lower to the knee joint and connected by a metal hinge so that the load on knee is bypassed&mobility is provided by the metal hinge.

None really. This type of brace is used with damage to the knee, pulled tendons, torn ligaments, cartilage, etc... and has been around for many of years.Best thing to help arthritis knee pain is to heat the knee area then wrap it and walk, everyday (if not twice) then end with icing it.Other knee exercises will help, but walking is the best.I have arthritis in both mine and I tore the left one up really bad in a ski accident. Walking was the best in both cases.

No, by using any kind of belt, brace you will allow the muscles to atrophy, waste away and then the pain will be ten times worse. The best thing is exercise. Good Luck
