Do clean looking teeth promote a happier mind? -

So, I've been thinking about buying a teeth whitening kit (to whiten my teeth, obviously!) and have been reading reviews and information online (mainly on this site: Teeth Whitening Kits Reviewed by a Dental Expert as the info is from a dentist). But I have kind of a weird question....Will whiter teeth actually make me feel better about myself and improve my confidence? To be fair, this is the reason I am doing it as I have always had self esteem issues in the past, especially where my teeth are involved.
