Default New healthy lifestyle, what to eat? - 01-02-2009, 02:06 PM

I want to start eating more healthy, and hopefully loose a little weight in the process.No fast food, soda, candy, or chocolate or obvious bad food.I know chicken, yogurt, water, fresh or frozen vegis are good for you, but what else?I need meal ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - can you help me out alittle?

Go to kraftfoods.com,&check out their healthy living section, I lost 25 lbs with them along with walking. The food is very tastey&I was never hungry.

Breakfast: Eggs scrambled with chopped tomatoes, spinach, and feta cheese. Peanut butter mixed with honey on whole wheat english muffins topped with sliced bananas and dried blueberries.Lunch: Fresh sliced veggies, turkey sandwiches on whole grain bread with Dijonaise (no mayo!), rice cakes (Quaker makes some good ones), fruitDinner: Salads with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, chopped red pepper - almost anything. Love to use vinaigrette salad dressings. Baked yams and potatoes are great. Fish - salmon, tilapia, and shrimp. Chicken. Boca Burgers. Fruit for dessert!

Yogurt, fruit (berries are good) granola, poached egg, Hollywood or Weight Watchers bread for breakfast.Salad with a protein for lunch or weight watchers soup (veggies in chicken broth)For dinner, a protein (chicken, 4 oz steak, fish i.e.) veggies again and fruit.Popcorn for a snack at night, no butter.Diet pop, 8 glasses of water a day.
