Default Ladies: If a guy has epilepsy, would that put you off him at all? - 07-14-2008, 08:05 AM

Im just wondering if that would have any effect on your decision whether to go out with them or not if they asked you? Genuine answers only please
Since I started having the seizures, it has affected my confidence a bit, as I dint know whether to mention it straight away or not, in case 1 happens & they dint know whats going on

I would date someone with epilepsy if he can make me laugh and happy.

No, but I'd make sure I know exactly what to do in case of an emergency....

No one is perfect. It would not effect my decision.

It would definitely put me off to him, considering I am attracted to his personality, and he isn't beaming with insecurity over his physical impositions, then it wouldn't bother me at all. and I'm sure there are many other women out there who feel the same. I like passionate men, if u got a heart and soul I can feel you-

Definitely wouldn't put me off. You would need to be seriously selfish and shallow not to go with someone because they had epilepsy. I don't think you have anything to concern yourself with.

I think it would kill a first date, if you had a fit during dinner. It's a killer isn't it. Do you blurt it out on a first date, "Hey, sorry in advance if I have a fit"

It's the kinda thing that would become less and less important as a relationship develops.
