I'm not sure exactly what you mean by chemical pregnancy. I can tell you this my best friend was diagnosed with PCOS with tumors and told she probably couldn't conceive naturally. After about a year of marriage, they proceeded with fertility treatments and have a healthy baby boy of eleven months. They also have second boy who turned one month old just recently... no fertility help needed.

i'm not sure i understand your question. but i have PCOS and have had a beautiful baby girl. i had the cysts on my ovaries removed, conceived 3 months later, and had my daughter via emergency c-section 5 1/2 months later. granted she was very early, little, and sick, she is a thriving baby now.

Well, I have PCOS and the doctor's THOUGHT I had a chemical pregnancy especially after a day and a half of light bleeding, but several days later when they rechecked my levels low and behold I was PREGNANT! Just to be sure they rechecked them again a few days later and I am most definitely pregnant. In fact, I'm 6 weeks and 4 days along now and have my first ultrasound on Thursday (OMG, so NERVOUS).I understand where you're coming from and the worries you have right now. It's hard enough to conceive with PCOS and is nerve wrecking to hear the words chemical pregnancy from your doctor. Once I did, I read all about it, and honestly once I read a few articles I felt immensely better. One article from a reputable site said that 50-60% of first time pregnancies, regardless of medical problems, is a chemical pregnancy but that it's only because of our ability to detect pregnancy hormones so early that we are now able to see so many occur. I have copied one below for your reading pleasure. In addition, I copied a great link from webmd that discusses a lot of common issues with TTC and PCOS.Baby dust to you!

PCOS, and had chemical pregnancy as well as miscarriage (#1) at 12 weeks. However, pregnant again (#2) at 14.5 weeks and all going well.Chemical pregnancy is quite common and not specific to PCOS. However, if you have PCOS and are worried about chemical pregnancy (implantation) at all, you can ask the doctor about taking progesterone suppositories during the luteal phase. However, you need to be know precise timing of your cycle (i.e. when you ovulate) and need to know when to stop. Also, if you are not already taking metformin, ask your doctor about it. That alone significantly helped with getting pregnant with #1 and #2 within a year (after few years of trying not knowing about PCOS).Good luck.
