It doesn't really reduce height... It may make someone slouch or have the illusion they are shorter because they are so wide. The intelligence doesn't have anything to do with it, I think. It could restrict the lungs from totally expanding and cause asthma.

Obesity leads to diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, disk disease, heart disease, varicose veins, gall bladder problems, pancreatitis. It contributes to joint problems such as bad hips and knees. People who are obese lose muscle tone because they don't move much. Breathing problems are common, shortness of breath, as well as sleep apnea, which can be very serious, sometimes fatal. Obesity can lead to depression or a persistent sense of sadness and unhappiness. There is also research to suggest obesity increases risk of certain kinds of cancer.I don't think it actually affects intelligence or height, though disk disease can eventually make you shorter. However, obese people may be viewed by society as being less intelligent because people sometimes react that way to someone who is different. If the person lost the weight his body could get back to normal in most ways. Certainly health would be much improved. However losing a lot of weight can lead ot lots of loose or excess skin in different areas of the body.

Hi
these are just rumors. it doesn't reduce height. it also nothing to do with intelligence coz that is related to brain. My friends Christian Freville & Paul Offen also suffered this trouble in 25th April 2001 but now they are normal.

Obesity can be called the mother to a dozen of health problems. If your weight is growing out or proportions you are susceptible to a number of health conditions like all stones and gall bladder surgery, hernias, carpal tunnel syndrome, sleep disorders, headaches, darkening of the skin on the neck and face, ulcers in the legs, high blood pressure, heart attack, heart failure, stroke, high cholesterol, diabetes, osteoarthritis, fatty liver, chronic kidney failure, restrictive lung disease, cancer, depression, low self esteem, chronic fatigue, and even premature death
