Interesting, I have had this feeling before and this is what I have done: Get plenty of sleep (at least 8 hours), eat healthy (fruits, protein [chicken], salad, fibers [oatmeal, breads], drink lots of water) 3-5 small meals a day, and get rid of any stinking thinking. Its important to stretch and drink water before, during and after your exercises. The most important thing I have done is stand up, bend slightly over, put your hands on your knees, and squat down slowly while keeping your hands on your knees as added support, then stand up slowly while keeping your hands on your knees, do this 15-20 times BEFORE doing any exercises such as running, squats, any leg lifts, anything that bends the knees - this warms up the knee joints. Also, wear comfortable shoes. Run on grass rather than a hard surface as it takes the impact away from your knee joints. Consider swimming and cycling as a good warmup. Maybe do lighter weight for a while to save your joints. Drink plenty of fluids to keep your joints active. Maybelook into some joint repair supplements at GNC. I do circuit training and I get a great workout without the heavy weights. My knees are fine now. Good luck.
