Stay away from fast food places, and junk foods.
Switch your food choices over to high fiber vegetables and fresh fruits.
Do not go hungry. Eat LOTS of vegetables, plus small portion of meat.
Drink water. Drink water all day long. Coffee or soda do not count.
Drink more water.
Get off the couch, or away from the computer more often.
Put some energy into that short walk, or task of cleaning your area.
Excess weight will start to melt off very soon.
