fried chicken, potato's with lots of butter and mostly every thing with butter or is fried. why do you have high cholesterol?

high cholesterol is not all because of food it could be a little family history you have not say in it is it could be...

Animal fat. From red meat. Some shell fish such as lobster and shrimp.Dairy such AS BUTTER and creme.

Foods that are high in saturated fats, meats, fowl, cream, butter, ice cream, anything that has an animal base. Fruits, veges and grains do not contain cholesterol. Although it's unlikely that you would notice symptoms from a high level itself, what you might notice are symptoms of heart disease. Shortness of breath, pain in the chest, etc. Everyone should have it tested and pay attention to the level. Anything over 200 is high and risky
