Is it possible for someone who is 27 to have ovarian cancer? I look at all the info on ovarian cancer and it constantly talks about going through menopause, being over 40, and things of that nature but nothing that says you can be as young as 27 and have it. Also have not had any kids and all the symptoms and signs are there. Would just like to know if it is possible.

Unfortunately, yes, cancer can strike at any age but of course risk increases as you age. The likely hood of you having it are very, very slim. Chances are that your symptoms are from something else so try not to worry. If I were you I'd get a physical to make sure everything else is okay though. Good luck

yes it is possible for someone 27 yrs. old to develop ovarian cancer. Not likely, but neverthyless possible. stay healthy by getting regular exams, pap tests and check-up's.

Of course it is possible. It is also more likely if you have never had kids. See you GYN
