2 Week Early period -

Alesse- Sunday Start:
I missed my pill twice(but not in a row) within the first week of a new pack, and my period came 10 days within starting the pack which is not normal. My period is usually 4 to 5 days, and this time it lasted seven. During my period, I continued taking my pill as per usual and now I'm just three pills away from the placebo set. Now, some of the sites I have looked at have advised that I begin a new pack this sunday(which ordinarily would have been the placebo pills). I am wondering if I should begin a new pack or take the placebos? I'm not sure what the difference would be or how either would effect my cycle. Also, when should I be expecting my next period? Thank you. Appreciate your help! |

It usually depends on the kind of pill you were taking since then. There are pills wherein your period comes in after you finish them on, but there are pills that you will take during the 1st day you had your menstrual period. Why not talk to your ob so she can explain further to you. In my case, once I had my period I should stop the pill or else it can affect the menstrual flow.
