I have minor acne on one cheek, but that's how my older brother's started out and spread to his whole face, as well as my dad. I wash my face 1-2 times a day with soap and water and once a day use Blistex acne face pads that have medicine in them. What I'm doing now works OK, but the zits are still there. What are some home remedies that I could also use to help prevent more acne? I've heard baking soda, toothpaste, honey, etc. Any suggestions?

Dont use toothpaste, it doesn't work it makes your face worse.

my mom is from the Caribbean so she is good at this here is a remedy i use i get an empty water bottle and fill it with like 2/4 of water 1/4 of bleach and 1/4 of vinegar plus some salt wash Ur face with it 2x a day or when u take a shower

Honestly most home remedies for acne don't work. Most remedies in general don't. You can try the baking soda, just don't scrub too hard with it. The honey is also harmless. But don't use the toothpaste, it doesn't work and it's not good for your skin.

Are you just using regular soap on your skin? If so, don't. It irritates your skin and doesn't help acne. You need to get a mild acne soap from the drug store instead. I use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash.

Oh and DON'T listen to the person who said to use bleach on your face. Yeah, it'll get rid of your acne but only because you won't have any skin left.
