i get acid reflux alto and i just saw that baking soda neutralizes acid... well we eat it in our food, it is OK to mix a little of it with water/milk to help our stomachs?? if so how much?

NO. It might actually increase the reflux by way of gases released. You need to take an anti emetic with a suitable proton pump inhibitor... penetrable, reparableLetc. for at least a week. dunno if it will be available as OTC in the country where you stay.

Baking soda and water have been used safely for decades, I would not mix it in milk though. There are of course drugs available, but I would rather try a natural remedy first before resorting to chemicals manufactured by Pharmaceutical Companies. You are sure that Baking Soda is pure and that water is safe. My ex was an RN for 35 years and swore by it.

willie is correct You should get an Eal and ask about helicopter pylori bacteria test Also ask about modifying your diet and reducing if overweight. Do not smoke and alcoholic drinks are also not good for you.
