Health oral report: should i do teen pregnancy or teen alchohol/drug use? HELP? -

i have to write a report for my health class and then present it to the class.
should i do teen pregnancy? its kind of embarrassing though. I'm not sure if i should do it, but i was adopted because of teen pregnancy. if i did teen pregnancy, what specific part of it should i write about? or should i do the safe route and do teen alcohol use? help! thanks for your help=) |

I say write about teen pregnancy. If you were adopted because of teen pregnancy then I'm sure you have plenty to say and reflect on which will make your report better. Talk about all aspects , stats, what your op ions are, opinions of society. Make it a well rounded report. Also Ive learned that taking the safe route never gets you any further, so I say do it on teen pregnancy!

You should do whatever interests you the most. Although I think the personal tie to teen pregnancy would be great, its totally your decision. Maybe you could do about how to prevent it, even pass out or offer for whomever wants, some condoms (get them for free from the community health center). You could discuss the options to prevent, through abstinence, protection, and birth control. (maybe pass out some information pamphlets from the health center). You can discuss what happens during pregnancy, the effects on a woman's body, and the stresses of it. You could also discuss what happens after birth, how some women give their babies a better life with adoption, or how some keep them and the struggle they endure because of their age. Make sure you do pass out or alert fellow students on where to go if they want more information or if they need help with anything.
