Dumb-as-a-post teens who think they know it all - those are the ones get pregnant, Cox they are not smart enough not to!

The even dumber ones do it deliberately!

As long as they have jobs, a home, enough money to raise a child, I don't care what they do or how many kids they have, but it shouldn't cost the tax payer a penny for their kids.

I waited to have children until we could afford it, and then we stopped having them when we couldn't afford more of them.

Everyone should do the same - when you can afford children, have them, when you are emotionally mature and are stable enough to raise children have them. But there is no 17 year old that I have ever met who can afford to raise a child, who is emotionally mature enough to do it, and who doesn't need money from the State to do it.

So, my answer is a loud and resounding - "No, teens who deliberately get pregnant are dumb."

I think at that age they should be focusing on seeing different places and doing stuff with their lives. Although I know a few teen mums and they are great mothers.

If I don't have to pay for it- meaning that they are not on any governmental assistance- not medicaid, not WIC- nothing. Then it isn't my business. I might not think it to be the best choice, but - whatever.

If they are on any governmental assistance then it pisses me off to have to pay for someones poor choices.

Realize if you are get pregnant on purpose knowing that you will need governmental help then it is a poor choice. That goes for someone that is 15 or 35- it doesn't matter. Because you are asking someone to pay for your lifestyle choices.

I don't really know
depends
do they have their own place,
are they educated
do they have jobs
have they been together a long time etc.
anyway i always have found that 17 thing funny its like saying having a baby the day before your 18Th makes you to immature but as soon as your 18 everything will be fine
but anyway i think it depends on the situation my friend got his girlfriend pregnant, so he brought a house they live together in a nice house with their baby,he is only 18

i think planned pregnancy's are okay if u are with someone u love and Ur going to be with for the rest of your life. i think about age 17 is okay but the more mature they are the better. i think 18+ is perfect alto of young teenagers are getting pregnant on purpose and its gonna effect their liefs dramatically. i am accusal 16 i thought i was pregnant but i ended up losing it. i didn't plan on it, it just happened. so i would say 17+ is good as long as its someone they're gonna be with forever (:

I was 16 when I got pregnant with my daughter. It did not ruin my life nor hers or her fathers. My child is well mannered and well behaved. Me and her father get along better than most people who waited to have children til they were older and than later split. So to say that it just ruins 3 lives is absolutely absurd. Do some research and get yourself straightened out. If you are that judgmental and clueless you should just keep it to yourself. Second, it all depends on both people involved, maturity level & financial capabilities among many other things.

I had my son Kayden when I was 16..Got pregnant at 15..Wasn't really planned but I am now going to be 18 in 9 days and I want another one. It just depends on how much you're willing to give up like seeing friends, doing what you want, etc..It has been hard and I wish I had waited a little longer with my 1st but I love my son, he's my whole world and I wouldn't change a thing about him.
