Do i have to take it every day? What happens if i forget to take one?

Just tell her what you just put there. You want to have your periods regulated. Usually moms understand more so then dads. Trust me on that one.As for what type, its up to you and your doctor. It may take you trying different ones until you find the one that has the right hormone level that works for you.

Just tell her you heard birth control will make your periods regular, assure her you are not planning on having sex and have her make you an appointment with the ob/gyn. The dr will choose which birth control you should be on, you do have to take it every single day at the same time each day. If you forget one it shouldn't cause problems, if you start having sex and miss a few it could mean you could get pregnant but since your not using it for that the worst that will happen is you may have a little bit of bleeding. If you miss a bunch you period may just start early and if you get cramps it may still be painful. There are only a few pills which will really be different, seasonale and seasonique both make you get your period 4 times a year, the rest will be once every 28 days. If you don't think you can remember to take them then you may want to ask for the patch which you change once a week.

im 15&&my periods were messed up. BIG TIME! so i took birth control. some pros were..you knew when it was comin so you could prepare&&u were protected if u had sex. Some cons were it made my period abnormaly heavy.&&i broke out more. For the type of birth control you should consult your doctor. You do have to take it every day&&if you skip one you can take it the next day but you cant skip it more than once or the whole month is ruined. But my advice is to you is that you should go natural&&dont take the pill because skipping or being early a week isnt that bad. =]]

Tell your mom what you just wrote. There are several different kind of birth control. You have to take it everyday. There are directions that come with each pack of birth control explaining when to start it and what to do if you miss one
