Is it safe to use lemons on your face when you're allergic to fruits? -

I'm allergic to some fruits (such as pears, kiwis, bananas, citric fruits, mangoes, strawberries, etc.) but I heard applying lemons to your face helps reduce acne and oil-free? I've tested by applying a small area of fresh lemon juice to the back of my hand and it felt a little stingy. Is it because I'm allergic or is that normal (I mean...lemon juice is a little acidic...)? Thanks! ^-^
HM well Ive try ed that lemon thing on the face, and to tell you the truth, it doesn't work... and i wouldn't apply the lemon on your face, if you had a reaction on your hand, unless you see your doctor, i suggest that you just go our and buy some acne cream
Mix some lemon juice with egg white and apply it over your face overnight. Wash off in the morning. This is a typically way to use Lemon as a facial mask. Maybe it might even reduce some of the stinging for people with sensitive skin.
...you basically answered your own question.... you said you were allergic to citric fruits....a lemon is a citric fruit... so no, do not put lemon juice on your face
You don't have to eat something you're allergic to to have a reaction to it. Some people can just be near something and have a reaction. If you are allergic to fruits, you should keep them out of contact with your body.
