Default How do I go about sorting an infant school for my daughter? - 12-16-2008, 01:08 PM

We have been in the area for over a year, and we are wondering if there is a waiting list for infant schools or a set procedure to follow?

Why would you send your infant to be institutionalized? The best and only place an infant should be is in the home with mommy? You need to read the research that says it's always best for the baby to in the mommy's care (unless they are abusive). Do what's best for your baby, not what is convenient for you.

Go to your local education office, or phone and ask for a list of the schools in your area. You may wish to visit the school or take into consideration as to whether it has any religious affiliation, do they have a pre-school attached which you could attend now so that your child moves into school with friends. You will probably have to fill a form out at the school and may need your child's birth certificate. The other thing to think about is does the school you choose have a uniform, you may get help with the cost through benefits or Tax credits, but do it now before it's to late and most of all talk to your child about going to school make it sound really good even if you have had a bad experiance. You can also check the ofsted web site for the school reports before you visit. hope this helps.

firstly, take a note of all the infant schools in your area, Make arrangements with the school to have a look around, they should'nt disapprove, work out the pro's and con's of each one.You can apply online now and you have three choices of preference, if the school is out of the catchment area that you live in you have to have a damn good excuse why you want your child to attend.once you have made your application, nearer the time your child school time starts, you are told which school you have been successful with, and arrangements are made for visits.Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK>

Frist thing you can do is take list of the school near by your area. Then take the reviews of the school. Sought out school where your princess will go for studying. The apply in that school.
