I set myself up so that even fresh towels&movies were ready. I had favorite snacks stocked and a schedule for company so I wouldn't be bothered all the time. Made sure things were at a height that I didn't have to stretch or bend, also add a stool to the bathroom for help in case I got tired dressing or in the shower. I was cut pretty good though due to lots of complications I was aware of before hand. Just feather your nest so to speak you'll be up&about before you know it.Good luck&God bless

Wrap your belly or use something tight... because, yeah, it can be really painful to cough or sneeze.Don't walk fast or for too long... even if you feel good... trust me on this one... you'll be paying with more pain if you do.Don't drive... you may drink a bit... but it will only make you feel more pain... (I usually drink a glass of wine... I quit doing it for about 3 months)You'll probably have a huge belly for about 3 to 5 months... mine lasted SIX!!! Everyone is different so... Six months to the date from mine I had absolutelly no symptoms at all.... but it did take six months for me....Even if the doctor says it's ok... he's a guy... he's never had a hysterectomy so... listen to other women who've gone through the same procedure... believe me, we know!Hope that helps...visit me at lavictima(dot)com
