I am sorry for your diagnosis. I wouldn't have oral sex anymore and every time you have sex, make sure your husband wears a condom.

you should ask your doctor, he knows more about this stuff than we do.. but for now i would not do oral sex and to use a condom for now until you ask your doctor. I'm sure you can still have sex though.

First off, I understand your worry. The idea of having any STD or in HPV's case STI is scary.

- There is no protection against HPV. The only protection is NO SEX! Any Dr. will tell you this. Now, you can use a condom for oral sex just as long as your lips don't slip and contact his unprotected genitals.

- 80% of the population has it since it NEVER goes away due to the fact it's a virus.

- There are times where HPV is dormant. You know how people say it goes away within 2 years. The real fact is after two or so years the symptoms will subside but you still are infected with the virus. Like I mentioned before, there is NO cure.

- The best way to handle HPV is to get regular paps to keep an eye on it.
