I take Prenatal Vitamins recommended by my Cosmetology teacher. She said they help hair growth and nails. So,I heard biotin helps too. Can anyone make me a list of vitamins for hair growth?

Your cosmetology teacher shouldn't have recommended those to you. Without seeing a doctor they can have a seriously negative affect such as blindness... overdosing that much on vitamins can be very bad for you, but they are the only thing that can really help hair grow... since HAIR ISN'T ALIVE AND DOESN'T GROW! It is a keratin/protein accumulation that builds up and pushed out of the follicle.

since hair is made up of protein as is nails, any foods with protein in them are good, as someone else said do not take anything a cosmetoligist says to, we cosmetoligist are not doctors, or is it legal for us to prescribe any drugs such as you are taking.. dont take anything over the counter, let the doctor give you the pre-natal vitamins....without a doctors consent, you could put you and the baby at a risk ...

If you cut or trim your hair on the"new moon"(look at your calendar),it will grow faster. If you prefer a short hair cut, DO NOT cut your hair on the new moon.I know this is not a"pill"but it works for my family. Hope this helps you.

lots of calcium and vitamin A!! but don't take to much, thats not good for u. try taking a daily vitamin. brush your hair too, this helps stimulate ur hair folicles.don't forget to get a healthy diet, too. this helps ur hair, and ur body.basicly, if u take good care of ur body, brush and wash ur hair, ur hair should grow at a pretty good rate

Foods that are rich in protein, low in carbohydrates and have a reduced fat can help maintain healthy hair and prevent hair deficiency loss.Iron cause maximum damage to the hair by reducing ground level products . use haemoglobin for your hair.Vitamin A,C are very helpful for the hair growth.

There are so many vitamins. According to me Vitamin E is good for hair growth. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, can stimulate the scalp to increase blood circulation. The increased blood flow, so that more nutrients available to the hair follicles so they can become stronger, healthier hair.
