Can I get vaccinations on the same day I get my cat fixed? -

I ended up finding a kitten and taking him home. No one claimed him so I decided to find a home for him. I want to get him fixed before adopting him out. Since I found him, I'm fairly sure he hasn't had any vaccinations. Would I be able to get vaccinations right before getting him fixed? Thanks for any help! ------
