Thyroid is not the one who is responsible for the human body temperature. It is definitely the hypothalamus that regulates it. It regulates the body temperature as a mechanism to the different kinds of reaction that occurs in the body. For example, there is the presence of a microorganism, when the body have already recognized the microorganism, it will have some reaction, one of which is to level up the temperature or also known as the fever.
