Default Is it too late for me? - 06-11-2011, 12:03 AM

According to my oral surgeon I have OA in my jaw. This consists of bone spurs, small erosions and bony remodling on my condyles. They are also flattened. My discs are perforated on both sides. There is fluid in the joints and inflammation where the bony attaches to the muscles.

He is a very conservative surgeon and says there is no treatment for me other than NSAIDs.

But I've maxed my dosage. I'm also taking Neurotin, Vicoden and Flexril to manage the pain and tightness of my jaw.

I hear people say neuromuclar dentists can help. Has anyone with this much existing damage been helped?

Thanks for your responses.
