Default What are the chances of conceiving after an STD? - 01-13-2009, 11:42 PM
So i found out i had an std over a year ago which has since been cleared up,i have gotten preggo once but miscarried. Could having the std affect my chances of having a healthy pregnancy?

nope your chances are still as good as they ever were if it would have damaged u the doc. would have known and told you

Some STD's can make you sterile, but one that you have had and gotten rid of shouldn't affect your pregnancy, especially if you didn't have it for long. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor, because it really depends on what you had.

It depends what STD you had. I had one 15 years ago (in my stupid days) and I am 3 months pregnant with my 3rd child. Try not to think negative thoughts&hopefully you will be fine.
