What is the best safe sex protection besides condoms and birth control? -

I need to know what works best to keep from getting pregnant when having sex. A condom will of course be used but birth control is out of the question. So what could you use to prevent pregnancy during sex while using a condom but needing a second type of protection? ------

You do get spermicide which kills off sperms without any side effects to either party.
