I have recently weened off of my anti-depressant, (zoloft). I decided after about a month that I was doing much better with meds, So, I started on half a pill for three days. right away I felt the the symptoms of restless leg syndrome, which I battled constantly while on zoloft, and my previous med, paxil. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not taking them anymore until I see a doctor and try to change the meds.

I never had those symptoms until I started taking Effexor. Could be a coincidence...but interesting of you to point out a possible correlation. I'll be interested to see what other people say.

Yes, there is.The increase in serotonin causes a compensatory drop in dopamine - the probable reason why all the movement disorders are reported e.g. tics, twitches, spasms, restless legs, various joint rattles, yawning, tooth grinding, nocturnal tremors...
