What are the symptoms of it? I know you have to go through something traumatic in your life to experience it, obviously, but I was just curious as to what sort of signs to look for in trying to diagnose yourself? How long does the stress disorder normally last for? Thanks

I think it could last the person's whole life. Symptoms are flashbacks to the traumatic event, usually triggered by something in particular, panic attacks, etc.

it lasts for a very long time.. it happened mostly to people in the vietman war that i do know..and yes obviosly u need to got hrough soemthing physically and mentally traumatizing.

well it can last all your life I have found out if you talk about it more it will help you with i hope this helps you
