Default does a regular period with PCOS mean it should be easier to conceive? - 12-30-2008, 11:04 PM

I have PCOS and have known for almost 10 years. We have been without birthcontrol for a little over a year, but have only recently started'trying'. Does a regular period (28 or so days) mean it should potentially be easier for us to get pregnant?

mmm it should be. My sister had PCOS and until she got her periods regular she didn't conceive. Also the way she got her cysts to shrink in order to ovulate was low carb diet! Limit your intake of sugar to as minimal as possible, and if you really need sugar eat fruits and whole grains, but no candy-pop-bread-pasta-potatoes, eat stuff that was made for low carb diet. She was on that diet for only 2 months and when she went to the doc for stomach ache she was pregnant and her cysts had shrank due to low sugar intake! Crazy yes, but totally true! Try it, you may conceive quicker than you think! And it will help extra weight (if any) come off before the pregnancy! Good luck!!!! Baby Dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!
