Yes they still give polio vaccinations, if they did not our country would be just as liable to have rampant polio do some of our third world countires.A Quaker community who does not believe in vaccinations had a polio break out a couple of years ago in the U.S. In the U.S. we use the dead vaccine so that children no longer get polio from the vaccination. This law changed about 9 years ago.It is important to have a vaccination against polio. Especially if you are considering traveling out of the U.S., even in the U.S. the wild virus can be brought in by pilots and those traveling to other countries with out them even being aware of it.At our website go to doctors articles and towards the bottom you will find information regarding the mandatory use of the dead vaccine for those being vaccinated in the U.S.
