What the chance that I will get Lyme Disease? -

I went walking in the woods yesterday with a friend and immediately showered afterward. Today, I found a tick on my arm. I removed it promptly & correctly, and put rubbing alcohol on the site afterward. I had my mom check me over for more ticks and we didn't find anything. What's the chance that I will get Lyme Disease from this?

If the tick that bit you was infected with Lyme, you have a high chance of getting the disease. If the tick wasn't infected, you're home free. The problem is that you don't know whether or not the tick was infected.
