My daughter has lupus is there any herbs that can help her she has lupus that is attacking her kidneys?

i don't know about Lupus i know it's a horrible disease.
there are a few things she can do for her kidneys.
first if it is serious get a chem 7 or similar blood test done by a doctor, to asses kidney function.
2ND apple juice is easy on the the kidneys by, she can perform a kidney cleansing fast if it is serious

Lupus is an autoimmune disorder. What this means is that your daughter's own bodily defenses are attacking her own body, in this case, her kidneys. This happens because the body's defenses can no longer differentiate what cells are foreign and what cells aren't.

There is no cure for lupus. But it can be treated by addressing the symptoms. Ask her doctor about corticosteroid and omnipresent.Santoscosteroids will address the inflammation in her kidneys which is causing the pain. Immunosuppressants will address the problem of her body's defenses attacking her own cells by suppressing her immune system to prevent them from attacking the tissues of her organ. BOTH drugs, however, will suppress her immune system and this may make her susceptible to other infections. But with the right dosage from her doctor, she should be fine.

I don't know if you are opting for an all natural treatment plan that does not involve drugs or medicines. If that is the case, then I do not know anything about herbs.

I would strongly advise you to be extremely careful of 'alternatives' to conventional medication for a couple of reasons. 1) herbs etc are often seen as harmless but they can seriously interfere with certain medications and in some cases actually stop the medication working and 2) when someone has kidney involvement they should be even more careful about anything they take as it can sometimes do even more harm to the kidneys. Even simple things like cranberry and grapefruit can interfere with some drugs.
