How people find out what kind of learning disability do they have?

well i have a learning disability but I don't know what kind i have but all i know is that i didn't do to good in school like math and english subjects and some spelling. Also i had A.D.H.D OR .A.D.D but my mom told me when I was a kid i had a.d.h.d.where do i go an find out what kind i have?

There may be some form of testing online that you can take. The only other way is to go to an educational centre where they have specialists in testing those with various learning difficulties. I hope that this helps you out.

your mom can take you to a learning specialist. the learning specialist will preform certain tests on you and try to look at your academic skills, attention span, memory, etc.. then after they have took the tests they can determine what learning disabilitie(s) you have.

Do not, first of all, see a primary care physician if you really want to know the answer. They are not trained to diagnosed learning disorders (or ADHD for that matter). You may get a diagnosis, but who knows whether it will be valid. What you need to do is get a psychoeducational evaluation. They are expensive (1000-2000 bucks), so I recommend trying to find a training clinic where students to the testing if you can, it will be much cheaper. Or try looking up resources in your area.You'll need to see a psychologist.
