and vice versa, with some trouble remembering spelling words after having learned them or temporarily memorized them, spelling"for""from"and"of"and knowing the difference between these when spelling, some trouble reading or pronouncing larger words, and can't do paragraphs, although she should have learned that last year. And with possible slower physical development. She is excellent in math, physical tasks (like taking care of her birds and cleaning after them, etc. and working gadgets like the microwave, television, and computer), art, and is really smart however. And when I take her to exercise, she never seems to tire, even hours later =).

As i am not a professional i cannot say to be exact, but the B confused with D is likely to be a form of dysgraphia. Has your child seen a speech pathologist or a literacy expert at her school? Maybe you could speak to the integration co-ordinator, or vice principal about getting her tested? They will ask questions, like, how is her reading, handwriting, oral language etc? Answer honestly and they should help you.Good luck.

Its sound more like dyslexia a visual processing disorder, and the information it sees misinterprets it incorrectly, making it difficult to learn in the normal way.Dyslexia is a reading, writing, spelling, numbers&symbols, memory problems.Dyscalculia is having difficulty with maths, which sounds she does not have.Dysgraphia is having difficulty in writing properly.Has she been assessed for a learning disability? Ideally she needs to be assessed by a school or educational psychologist, who will do a full assessment on every aspect of schooling, social interaction etc. There many things to support and help a dyslexic student in the classroom and at home. If you would like some more information please contact me, as I have number to strategies which have helped my daughter and I, we are both dyslexic and have dyscalculia, my daughter also has dysgraphia.I am a Youth&Disability support worker, and sessional teacher, with a special interest in learning disabilities, especially dyslexia. And use the same strategies that work for my daughter and I, on my students.
