It will depend on the type of hysterectomy you're having. Just having the uterus removed will not upset the hormones produced by the ovaries. Without their uterus, some women complain of having an"empty"feeling at first, especially during sex, even though most men state they cannot detect any difference. It does seem to diminish over time. If you do have your ovaries removed as well, you'll likely need to be on a hormone replacement therapy, at least at first.Good luck, I hope this helped!
