It can be done...if you can coordinate the schedules of two busy surgeons. It also depends on how involved the two surgeries are.Is the hysterectomy going to be removed vaginally, open incision or laparoscopic? Also, the reason for the hysterectomy may have some bearing on whether the two surgeries can be done together.Is the cholecystecomy going to be removed by open incision or laparoscopic. Your general health may also be a factor.Discuss with either surgeon well in advance of the surgery, about having the two surgeries done together. If the surgeon thinks it can be done then have your two surgeons contact each other to coordinate their schedules. You may have to have your surgery when they want to do it rather than when you want to do it. The two surgeons and their office personnel should be able to handle all the preparation from there.
