If I were you I would get a second and third opinion.
A hysterectomy should be a last resort.

I don't know. The only reason a doctor might suggest it is that women with HPV are very likely to develop cervical cancer. Get a second opinion, of course, and be sure to get regular physical exams to check for cervical cancer.

Hysterectomy for HPV, I have heard of this, but only in very advance stages, such as: The uterus is full of venereal warts, that sometimes accompany HPV. However this is very rare and I would strongly encourage a second opinion. Hope this helps

no absolutely not

just having HPV is not an indication

further it depends on

1)any malignancy of uterus
2)fibroid
3)excessive meteoricAgnawomen around 45
or women compeleted their family
4)uterine rupture

if there are any cytological changes or abnormal PAP smear after HPV is there
it could be indication for hystrectomy

get a 2ND opinion! Do not have a hysterectomy until all the doctors agree. Visit a female OBGYN.
