I don't think the virus can last even 30 seconds exposed to the environment. HIV is not an easy virus to catch. Blood to blood contact through unprotected intercourse and anal sex, drug use involving hypodermic needles. Think about it, it is very sad that thousands of innocent people caught the virus years ago before blood donations were tested like they our today. Through transfusions when blood was needed HIV and some forms of hepatitis were spread accidentally. HIV was not present in this situation, however don't just forget about this experience until the next situation. Go see a medical professional with your questions and get the right answers about the spread of HIV and other studs. A risky sexual lifestyle usually just gets more and more dangerous and you begin to think, well i haven't caught anything yet, it wont happen to me. Then one day a test comes back positive, you cant just take the virus out of you once you get it. This is not meant to scare you. The fact is the virus is out there. Not everyone gets tested and some people don't even know they have it. Please protect yourself through the right sexual choices for your health and life. Don't let it happen to you, the choice is yours.
