that's a Prue-existing condition and thus insurance companies are free to exclude treatment for that from your plan. the best bet is to find a large employer with thousands of employees. their plans typically don't have the Prue-existing condition limitation.

you can go back to whom ever was your first insurance when you were diagnosed... they should put you back on their plan.

You may need to do some employer shopping. As you know you NEED health insurance.

Many group health options through employers cannot discriminate against Prue-existing conditions.

The other option is through the FL government health plan.

That is tough because each State has its own set of Insurance laws-most exclude Prue-existing conditions, such as Diabetes, HIV and Heptitis C. If you are working with a larger company, such as major US Corporation, they tend not to do Prue-existing exclusions. It is a shame, options are few. If you are really dead set in living in FL-not much can be offered. You can always go on line and look into different insurance laws in other states that might interest you to relocate.

I dint live in FL but the company I work for is based there and I am sure the insurance is the same. I have had HepC for 3 years now and just got this job and found there was no qualifications for Prue-existing. Going to start the treatment in about 3 weeks.(kinda scared) Website Pros is the name of the company. Look them up.

Hi - I'm with Ameri Plan - we are offering comprehensive medical, dental, vision and chiropractic coverage for $49.95-$59.95 per month. Since it's not insurance, there is no deductible. You save up to 80 per cent on the spot. This is a great plan. The only Prue-existing condition we don't cover is orthodontic treatment already in progress. Please contact me. wlakin@ameriplan.net; WNW.mybenefitsplus.com/40378118
