ok... so first of all not washing your hair everyday does nothing but make your hair look oily.. on the other hand it helps cuz you don't have to blow dry and style every single day.. but if it needs to be washed wash it. as for the rest of your question.. try using protene packs. you can find them in beauty supply stores like sally's or maybe even at wal mart also try doves new damage repairing shampoo and conditioner it's in a dark blue bottle and i absolutely love it it totally helpes my hair alot. and every couple of weeks maybe even every week do a hot oil treatment to it that will give you shine. and those are sold in walmart to..hope this helps!!!: )bae

I would recommend using something like Dove shampoo and conditioner. It's pretty gentle, will help moisturize and build shine.I only shampoo every other day, but condition every day. It helps the natural oils build up just a bit. On the days that you don't shampoo though, just use a little conditioner. Also, try doing a deap clean dandruff treatment once a week. There area also sleeking serums and products that you can put in your hair to help make it shiney. The split ends could be caused by blow drying or flat ironing or curling ironing. If you do these things, try cutting down how many times a week you do. If you still want to blow dry, make sure you towel dry a lot first, and just use the drier for the last couple minutes to finish the dry.

Does your diet that provides you with enough nutrients, especially protein (it's very important for healthy hair) ? Healthy hair requires these. I have no idea if this applies, but anorexics often lose their hair due to lack of nutrients.

I think you lack vitamin supplement. Try taking multivitamins daily. It helps to restore deficiency in your body.Go to a salon and have a neat hair cut. Cut out the split ends and since you have thin hair ask for a long layered cut so that it looks full. Here are some tips to maintian your hair at home.1.Beat one egg in olive oil and massage. It softens your hair.2.Every week do a hot oil massage for your scalp and hair, it definitely improves the health of your hair.3.To grow your hair long, have protiens and biotin rich food.Biotin rich drink - Blend 1banana, fat free milk and yogurt and honey. Follow proper diet routine. Do not skip meals.Store bought stuff:1.Buy a mild shampoo for your hair. Dont treat with harsh chemicals. You can use Johnson baby shampoo. Its mild.2.You can buy hair vitalizing masks in walmart. It surely helps.

You need to go in to a salon or a beauty supply and ask a professional what products you should be using!

I had the same problem as you do. First of all you do not want to wash your hair everyday, cause that will dry out your hair even more. What you want to do for dry hair is wash your hair like twice a week and when hour wash it wash your scalp cause that is the most oily part of your hair. After washing your hair make sure you get all of the soap out and put some conditioner in it, ( Bialoge, Pantine, tesemme). Bialoge you get at a hair salon. After you put the conditioner on then you put like a plastic bag or a shower cap on and sit under a hair dryer for about 20-30min so the heat can penetrate the conditioner in your hair. Then rinse it very well.Second of all do not brush your hair when it is wet cause all you are doing is breaking your ends off even more. When your hair is wet use a wide tooth comb or a pick. And do not dry your hair with a blow dryer that will dry out your hair more .PS: I hope this helps.
