How long have you been at this company?
Be up front and honest, tell her that you have Fibromyalgia and exactly how it affects you, and give her a letter from your doctor confirming you have it, so she does not think your making it up or as an excuse for not being at work.
I would also give them some information about what Fibromyalgia is, so they can read it when they have the time. You need to make a compromise on how you can work to your best ability, and what they can do to support you, is it possible to do some work at home, on the days your unable to go into work.
I work part time, as a Youth & Disability support worker and seasonal teacher, and I have CFS & Fibromyalgia and I informed my employers at the interview I had this, they still took me on, because of my qualifications and years of experience. Unfortunately last year I had to let the Youth & Disability work go due to increasing difficulties with walking etc.
