what do I do if my friend is"bolemic?"? -

so my friend isn't bolemic..but she does make herself throw up. I mean she does it when like she's sad but not to make herself skinnier and she doesn't rely on it.. she can stop anytime she wants..and I know like people always say they can but she can. and she has. but how does she stop even wanting to do that?? what do I do??

Don't tell her she is destroying herself. Be supportive, tell her that its okay and don't try to UNDERSTAND, accept that she is going through emotions that you are just not able to comprehend. Only she can help herself, but with support and kindness you will help her on her way to recovery.Maybe suggest this book here:Slim to None by Jennifer Hendricks- It will open her eyes to what she is doing to herself through a true experience of a girl plagued with eating disorders.
