McDonald's will help.........other more healthy ideas below-Peanut Butter-Nuts, Trail Mix, etc.-adding cheese to more foods and other'extras,'like sour cream on baked potatoes, gravy on meats, butter on vegetables, mayonnaise on sandwiches, cream cheese on fruits, etc.-make a breading for more foods you prepare using bread crumbs-make a high calorie smoothie with NESTLÉ CARNATION Instant Nonfat Dry Milk milk, bananas, orange juice, ice cream and some water-add 1/3 cup of NESTLÉ Carnation Instant Nonfat Dry Milk to 1 cup of whole milk (adds 80 calories)-add a packet of NESTLÉ Carnation Instant Breakfast Mix to 1 cup of whole milk (adds 130 calories)

I was borderline anorexic and lost all the proteins in my body.Protein needs to be included. Try fun foods to start with. If she is willing to start out without being forced, try making nachos and pizzas. Organic vitamin D milk instead of using skim or 2%. I don't know what she likes, so this is hard. Salads are fine, but make A SALAD. Put almonds or sunflower seeds, cheeses, high cal dressings, french fried onions, crunched up pretzels, anything to make it more"fattening", but still good and semi-healthy (besides the dressing, obviously).Remember her stomach has also shrunk. So she will actually be full on what seems like baby portions.Good Luck, for both of you!! You can also try vitamin stores.

peanut butter in any variety is very good. there are also drinks, such as ensure that is filled with alot of nutrision. try a protein drink, although it is to her taste as what flavor to purchase. vanilla is o.k. if she has a severe anorexia problem, you need to see a nutritionist for more details on her diet.

eating anything would be better than nothing, don't worry about caloric content as much as overall health. Her comfort in eating the foods is more important than just packing on 20lbs really fast, that could conceivably leave her with a worse self image and a relapse into anorexia. Work on her comfort level, get her to eat anything, then worry about target weight. However, should you not take that advice, potatoespastaground beef(not chuck, good ol'fatty stuff)all of that will help her put on weight quickly.

Breads, pastas, rice, deli meats, milkshakes, cake , pastries, potatoes, milk, cheese, beans, soda. She has to eat veggies and fruits too. Bananas and apples are good. A multi-vitamin with all the B vitamins. If possible, see if her doctor can give her a B-12 shot. It will help to give her an appetite.PizzaFried Chicken and BiscuitsFrench FriesIce CreamMashed PotatoesEnsureCheesecake

Peanut butter and ice cream are good. Also salad dressing, it has tons of calories. Cheese will be helpful. I hope this helps. My doctor told me because I weigh 79 and I'm about 5'5. (No I'm not anorexic. It's my genes.)
