How hard is it to get disability with fibromyalgia? Any advice or personal stories?

Default How hard is it to get disability with fibromyalgia? Any advice or personal stories? - 01-19-2009, 12:01 AM

I've had fibromayalgia for 6 years and until the last year has been under control. My doctor suggested i tried filing for disability.

After you file for SSDI contact your state senators and have them keep an eye on your case. Friends in high places seems to help. I also have fibromyalgia to go along with psoriatic arthritis and rheumetoid arthritis. Took me 6 months, that seems long unless you have money saved.
