Default What are the benefits of dieting and exercising? - 07-26-2011, 06:46 AM

i started a program two weeks ago and its the best thing ever. you need to get your mind involved esp if you really wanna lose the wt. not only do you lose wt but you also get more healthy, feel better, have way more energy, and reduce your risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, or cardiac issues. Its a good way just to be healthy overall. remember you are what you eat....and dont think of it as as diet think of it as something you are doing to chg your life forever and that you want to remain eating healthy not just for a short period of time...

The orange foods have the carotenoids the help prevent cancer by repairing the DNA. As our mothers told us, carrots, and other orange foods, are especially good for our eyes, and help with night vision. The deep orange foods help our bodies get the vitamin A we need, without getting excess that can lead to osteoporosis.

Eating a healthy diet and regular exercise may reduce risk for stroke and other cardiovascular diseases, reduce risk for diabetes, protect against certain cancers, such as mouth, stomach, and colon-rectum cancer, reduce the risk of coronary artery disease, help decrease bone loss and reduce the risk of developing kidney stones.

Yo-yo dieting is no good. Most the time all that happens is you loose water weight thus the fast results, but this is neither healthy or long lasting. An ongoing healthy diet is a lifestyle choice. The benefits to this besides maintaining a healthy weight are increased stamina and energy, it decreases your chances of having heart disease and diabetes. You'll also notice your sharper mentally and have a happier outlook on life.
