I need to lose like 8kg (18lb) and i've tried cutting out chocolate and eating proper meals at the right times but it hasn't really worked!! Can anyone help me or give me a link to a GOOD diet that is free and actually works? I want it to be realistic if that makes sence!!

Start counting your calories. You might be eating proper meals at the right times, but you still might be overeating. Start counting your calories (measuring out your serving sizes), and figure out what's going on. The good news is that with calorie counting, on especially good days, you will know whether you can work in a piece of chocolate or two and not feel guilty.Link below to the site I use to track my calories:

Going by'the truth about food'which was on the BBC a few weeks ago, diets higher in protien keep you fuller for longer. Also calcium can help to reduce the amount of fat adsorbed by the body from the food we eat. However it will need to be low fat calcium so as not to increace the calorie intake. (skimed milk, fat free or low fat yoghrts etc). This combined with an increrase in physical activity should help.

go to weight watchers it is free to register and get a points book and buy a special calculator for £6.95. work out your points ect and stick to these .if you dont want to go back you have all the info there.please dont worry about going there it has made me lose a stone in 5 weeks and to be honest as a 38 year old man i felt the stigma of going there would be embarrassing.now seeing the thought of losing weight every week makes it all worth while
